Quality Control

Silentec implements quality control according to the following principles:

1 - Rigorous, after an individual has been trained, negligence is not tolerated. Managers report directly to the president.

2 - Simple, ensure that the most important facts are well understood and that the specific customer requirements can be met.

3 - ASME, AWD or CWB certified shops are required while applying the following tools:

3.1 MITP: Test Plan, Inspection and Manufacturing, which lists the steps of process manufacturing and inspection, with places for signatures of officials and inspectors. The plan is accompanied by supporting documentation, either:

3.2 Certificate of Origin of material,

3.3 Drawings of dimensional control, compliance with quote.

3.4 Report of Non-Destructive Testing, to meet the design. This includes inspections of welds, including ultra-sound, made by Silentec staff.

3.5 NCR (Non Conformance Report) documenting a change in manufacturing compared to drawings or specifications, with approval or required actions.

3.6 WPQ (Qualification of Welding Procedures)

3.7 WCR (Certification of Report of welder)

3.8 CQ Painting
